Packaging Machine Operator Mechanic

Diamond Foods, Inc located in Stockton, CA is a $500M branded Food Company and leading domestic and international marketer of culinary and snack nuts. We are currently seeking a Packaging Machine Operator Mechanic to fill the various Machine Operator positions.

The responsibilities include:

  • Machine Operation-Film, zipper and coding ribbon changes to maximize machine up time.
  • Production line start-up and troubleshooting, monitor equipment using tools to make adjustments as required.
  • Meeting production and quality standards.
  • Change-Over
  • First response to line stoppages
  • Complete paperwork accurately and legibly
  • Assist leads and Supervisors in training operators.
  • Preventative Maintenance-Disassemble, inspect, repair, clean and perform PM’s on packaging equipment at planned intervals.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and understand process operating procedures, PM guides and other instructional materials.
  • Ability to follow detailed, technical directions.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of production team and work in team environment.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.

Salary: Up to $17.06 per hour plus benefits DOE.
